GMB@SAS Branch were delighted to be able to support Olivia’s Medical Fund
Olivia aged 8, has been bravely facing a challenging medical condition called Doose Syndrome that has necessitated extensive and costly treatments. As the weight of medical expenses has mounted, GMB@SAS Branch has rallied behind Olivia and her family demonstrating the incredible power of compassion and unity.
Our £200 donation not only contributes to the financial aspect of Olivia’s medical care but also serves as a powerful symbol of our support and encouragement she is receiving from those around her and it’s wonderful to see everyone supporting Olivia’s cause.
Olivia’s parents expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of support writing to our Branch Secretary stating, “You enable Olivia to live as near normal a life as she can, Doose Syndrome has robbed her of much of her childhood, and conventional medicines and surgeries have resulted in further declines in her overall wellbeing. From the bottom of our hearts thank you”
