GMB Scottish Ambulance Service Branch are supporting the staff led Tech to Para campaign! Ambulance Technicians in SAS need a pathway to progress to Paramedic without having to go part time or leave the Service. They need properly supported and invested in. They shouldn’t be forced to choose between supporting their family or progressing their career. An experienced Technician makes a good Paramedic, but many are now being denied this opportunity.
GMB are pleased to be able to provide support for this campaign. Change is needed which will ultimately benefit staff and patients.
