On the 19th June 2013 Neil Sturrock, Greig Gordon, Gavin Priestley and myself took part in the Macmillan Cancer Support Longest Day Golf Challenge. We played 72 holes over 4 different courses, Lochmaben, The Crichton, Dumfries & Galloway and Dumfries & County. We walked over 15 miles, hit 1316 shots. We had 6 birdies and I had the only “magic 2” of the day..!! Neil managed to hit most of the trees and Gav lost a few balls… but all in all we played well throughout the day and had a really good laugh doing it. We have raised almost £800 towards this wonderful cause and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who sponsored us, especially GMB@SAS, who very kindly sponsored us £100
