GMB Scottish Ambulance Service Branch have recently been able to offer support to our member Kayla Esson from Banff Station, who has been fundraising for Cancer Research UK – Race for Life. Kayla has ran the 5k in Inverness in May and was also chosen as the starter for the Aberdeen Race for Life in June. Since 2025, Kayla has also raised an incredible £17,000 for Cancer Charities.
The Branch were delighted to be able to provide a financial donation to Cancer Research UK and would like to congratulate Kayla for all the work she has done to help raise money to fund this ongoing vital work.
