GMB@SAS Branch would like to express our huge gratitude to Steve Rice who is standing down as Chair of the GMB National Ambulance Committee (NAC) after 16 years.
Steve was a pioneer in the creation of the Ambulance Service Union (ASU), prior to it’s merger with GMB in 2008. Following on from this, under Steve’s stewardship, GMB have gone from strength to strength in the Ambulance sector across the UK. He has been an incredible leader and his work will not be forgotten by those who have been a part of this journey.
The Branch would also like to congratulate Paul Turner on his election as Chair and wish him well as he takes up this new position.
