On 1 April 2015 a new NHS Scotland Pension Scheme will be introduced. This means that on 31 March 2015, both the 1995 and 2008 sections of the current NHS Scotland Pension Scheme (NHS 1995 and NHS 2008) will close to new members, and a new pension scheme will be introduced – the NHS Pension Scheme (Scotland) 2015 (NHS 2015).
